Strawberry Chia Pudding (Seed Cycling)

I have 3 words for you: easy, delicious, nutritious. That’s what this strawberry chia pudding is.

There’s been a crime committed against the definition of healthy – especially when it comes to food. Because healthy has become a synonym for blah tasting foods and not pleasurable to eat. But it’s OK since it’s low-cal.

That’s not why we’re here, right? Because this is The Nutrinut. And here, we eat delicious food. We feed the body, soul, and taste buds. It’s the only way to do it and you shouldn’t settle for less.

Chia Seed Pudding For Your Menstrual Cycle

I wanted to share this recipe on the blog because it’s a super easy way of enjoying your seed blends. For the most part, I just top my dishes with the seed blend that corresponds to the menstrual cycle phase that I’m in. Sometimes I want to switch things up. But not really commit to an elaborate labor-intensive recipe. Enter chia seed pudding…

Here are some reasons I love this recipe for your menstrual cycle:

It’s a fiber, healthy fats, and protein-rich snack/dessert/breakfast. When you are on your luteal phase (second half of your menstrual cycle) or on your period, these are so perfect! Because it will help satiate your cravings and in a way that won’t cause blood sugar spikes.

It’s easy to make ahead of time and can be prepped for the entire week as part of your meal prep. And if you’re someone that has a very busy routine, you can take these containers on-the-go. It’s very important to properly nourish your body and hormones. Without the right nutrition (nutrients and amount), your body and menstrual cycle can easily go out of balance.

If you’re someone that enjoys variety, just switch up the flavor. In the beginning of your cycle, you might crave lighter fresh flavors, like citrus. Towards the end of your cycle, rich decadent chocolate might be it for you. Listen to your body’s needs and use this recipe as a starting point.

It’s a delicious way to rotate the seed blends from your seed cycling kit without having to overthink it. It just works – every time!

So are you ready to give these a go? Let’s head on to our kitchen then. See you there!
